Vanilla Carmel

IngredientsFrom:
2 CupsSugarJankowski
1 CupCorn SyrupFamily Recipes
1 Cup
Warm light cream
1/2 tspsalt
1/3 cup
Oleo or margarine
1 tspvanilla
1/2 cupNuts if desired
Directions
Mix together the sugar and corn syrup. cook for 10 minutes. Add 1
cup warm slowly so as not to stop the boiling - 5 minutes longer.
Slowly add the oleo (margarine) 1 tsp at a time. Cook until 240
degrees on candy thermometer. Remove from heat and add 1 tsp
of vanilla and nuts if desired. Allow to cool and set, cut and
enjoy
