Beef Rolls with Dressing

From Jankowski Family Recipe

Ingredients 

1 1/2 PoundsRound Steak1 CupBread Crumbs
1 mediumOnion - Finely Chopped1 TbspParsley - minced
4 TbspMargarine1 CupHot Water Or Stock
1Egg - beatenTo TasteSalt and Pepper

Directions 

Pound meat into thin pieces 4 x 3 inch pieces.  Season with salt and pepper.  Saute onion in butter, add bread crumbs, parsley, egg, salt and pepper, mix well.  Spread mixture on meat slices and roll securely.  Tie with string or toothpick - roll in flour and brown in butter.  Add hot water or stock and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.  Remove string or toothpick, pour gravy over meat. Garnish with parsley and serve with mashed potatoes.
