Fruit Cake

From Jankowski Family Recipe Box 

Ingredients 

4 CupsFlour3/4 #'sCandied Pineapple
1/2 tspBaking Powder3/4 #'sCandied Cherries
1 1/2 tspSalt1 #Golden Raisins
1 1/2 tspCinnamon2 1/4 CupWhite Sugar
1 tspNutmeg1 CupButter or Oleo
4 to 6 ozNuts6Unbeaten Egg
3 TbspBrandy Flavoring

Directions 

Preheat oven to 245 degrees.  Mix Flour, baking powder, salt cinnamon, and nutmeg.  Add nuts, pineapple, cherries and raisins.  Mix all fruit until well coated with flour mixture.  Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.  Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg is added.  Add brandy flavoring to cream mixture.  Then add to fruit mixture.  Pour into a 10 inch tube pan or two bread pans until 2/3 full.  Bake 2 3/4 to 3 hours.
