Ingredients
| 2 1/4 Cups | Flour |
| 3 tsp | Baking Powder |
| 1/2 Cup | Shortening |
| 1 tsp | Vanilla |
| 1 tsp | Salt |
| 1 1/2 Cups | Sugar |
| 1 Cup | Milk |
| 2 | Eggs |
Directions
preheat oven to 375 degrees and grease cake pan. Mix flour, salt and baking powder well. Cream in another bowl the sugar and shortening. Add to flour mixture. Add milk, vanilla and eggs. Mix all together and pour into prepared cake pan. Bake until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
