Jello Salad

From Jankowski Family Recipe Box 

Ingredients 

2 3 oz pkgJello2 8 oz CupsSour Cream
2 pkgUnflavored Gelatin3 smallBananas
2 cupsHot Water2 CupsFrozen sliced strawberries
1 Large CanCrushed Pineapple  with juice1 CupChopped Nuts - Optional

Directions

Dissolve jello and gelatin in 2 cups boiling water.  Stir until completely dissolved.  Add partly thawed strawberries, pineapple and bananas to jello.  Pour half of mixture into large mold or 13 x 9 inch glass dish.  Chill until firm.  Spread sour cream over the top.  Pour second half of mixture on top of sour cream. Chill until firm and ready to serve.  Cut in slices  - serve as dessert or salad.
