| 2 Tbsp | Cornstarch | |||
| 1 1/2 Cups | Milk | |||
| 1/4 tsp. | Salt | |||

| 1 Tbsp | Butter or margarine | |||
| 1 tsp | Vanilla | |||
| Directions | ||||
| Peel and section 2 oranges into medium bowl. Cut each section into bite size pieces. Cover and refrigerat3e about 3 hours before serving. In 2 qt saucepan stir sugar, cornstarch and salt until well mixed. Gradually stir in milk , over medium heat. Cool stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Remvoe from heat, In cups with fork beat eggs with small amount of hot sauce, stirring rapidly to prevent lumping. Return to ehat, cook stirring constantly until thickened (do not boil). Remove from heat stir in butter or margarine and vanilla until well mixed and smooth. Cool to room temperature stirring occsasionally to prevent skin from forming. Fold in orange pieces, draining off any surplus juices. Pour into pie crust. Refrigerate to chill well. Add topping | ||||
