In medium pan combine sugar, corn syrup, cream and salt. Bring to boil over | ||||
medium heat. Cook without stirring to 234 degrees on candy thermometer or until | ||||
a small amount of mixture dropped into cold water forms a soft ball. Remove from | ||||
heat and let stand until luke warm 110 degrees, add vanilla and coconut. Divide | ||||
Candy if you want to make several different colors. Add food coloring and work into | ||||
candy until evenly covered, drop by heaping Tablespoons onto wax paper, shape into | ||||
nests. Should make about 14 nests. | ||||
