Oatmeal Cookie

Ingredients 

1 Cup	Margarine		Pinch	Salt
1/2 Cup	Brown Sugar		1 Tbsp	Vanilla
1/2 Cup	White Sugar		1 Cup	Flour
1/2 tsp	Baking Soda		3 Cup	Quick Oatmeal
1/4 Cup	Hot Water		1 Cup	Raisins, Nuts, or Chocolate Chips (OPT)

Directions 

Cream:the margarine, firmly packed brown sugar, and white sugar.  Dissolve baking soda in hot water, add to creamed mixture with a pinch of salt, Stir in the vanilla, flour and quick oats.  Gently stir in raisins, nuts or chocolate chips. .  Drop by teaspoons onto l of greased cookie sheet.  Bake at 325-350 degrees for about 11 minutes, makes about 60 small party size cookies
